4 ONE ONE = "Information" About Me & Ten4 Design Studio
Hello! I'm Danni Schertzing, principal (a.k.a. Queen Bee) of Ten4 DS. This blog is a place for me to share all things creative including some of my recent work and "profound" affirmations. =)
I am a schooled graphic designer so I'm inspired by "pretty" things (I can't believe I said that...) from home decor to jewelry, packaging design to logos, furniture to fashion, and the "graphys" - photo, and of course, typo. Hope you find something here that is interesting and inspiring too!

I have favorite colors for various things you see... Cars – White; Wine – Red; Dresses – Black; Olives – Green; Grapes - Purple; Ocean – Teal; Body Text – 92% Black Tint.

Biography
Danni Schertzing, principal of Ten4 Design Studio, is a dynamic, creative professional motivated by engaging design. She is a graduate of Grand Valley State University’s graphic design program. Her career includes 5 years of leadership roles in corporate marketing communications.
Despite a fine art education, she shamelessly admits she still ponders, “What makes art, art?”
It is through such analysis that her interests are far-reaching and her perspective unique.
Danni accessorizes her life with fun jewelry and eclectic décor. Her presence is high-energy, resourceful and identified by a slight cackle when she laughs.
Danni pleads guilty to over-clicking the mouse, as well as attempting to mentally process the command “Edit>Undo” during life’s bloopers. Nonetheless, she has an outstanding track record of successful projects and happy clients.
A lover of Michigan summer and fall, Danni enjoys biking, camping, dining on patios, wine culture and right-emotion music. Her and husband Brad, with their spoiled-perfect puppy, Reese, live and love entertaining family and friends in Grand Rapids.
Why Ten4?
Danni exploited the 10-4 communication code since her teen years—calling out the number combination on clocks and other numeric media. Suggestive of her birthday, Danni unknowingly built a brand for herself early on. So it’s not surprising to see her develop a brand campaign around it now.
Why Affirmative?
The 10-4 communication code means affirmative. Affirmative means:
1. affirming; asserting the truth
2. expressing
3. positive; not negative
